Talk about demonic office tyrants! Take the cruel on-screen figure Kevin Spacey currently plays in Horrible Bosses, multiply the character by 10, and you begin to get the strength of his indelible interpretation of the title character in William Shakespeare's Richard III, now being presented by the Bridge Project at the Old Vic and coming to BAM's Harvey Theatre in January 2012.
There's little question that, as impressive as Mendes' earlier Bridge Project undertakings were, this production is his crowning achievement. It's also a notable addition to Spacey's resume as well, which boasts an Oscar for his performance in Mendes' award-winning American Beauty. Indeed, the two men cert[...]
