A timeless story about the power of love, Sam is trapped as a ghost between this world and the next trying to communicate with his girlfriend Molly through a phoney psychic in the hope of saving her from his murderer. Ghost, based on the Oscar® winning Paramount pictures film, will feature new music and lyrics as well as the classic "Unchained Melody."

While
Ghost the Musical, the stage adaptation of the Oscar-winning 1990 film now at the West End's Picadilly Theatre, is visually spectacular and boasts fine performances, it never quite makes the case for itself as a piece of musical theater.
With screenwriter Bruce Joel Rubin on board as writer and co-lyricist, it's not surprising that the story sticks pretty closely to that of the film, often recreating dialogue line for line.
