WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
This concert uses music to powerfully highlight the lives of gay men in Germany before and during the Nazi era. Act I, Life is a Cabaret, Seattle Men's Chorus along with special guests bring to life the free-wheeling high spirits of the pre-war Weimar period with outrageously entertaining music. Act II presents For a Look or a Touch, a poignant look at gay lovers torn apart by the Holocaust. This thought-provoking, uplifting musical drama is a soaring tribute to the strength of the human spirit.
