In its 29th year, the Kennedy Center continues its efforts to fulfill his vision?presenting the greatest performers and performances from across America and around the world, nurturing new works and young artists, and serving the nation as a leader in arts education. The Kennedy Center is the nation's busiest arts facility, presenting more than 3,000 performances each year for audiences approaching 2 million. An additional 20 million each year attend touring Kennedy Center productions or tune in to television or radio broadcasts, including the Kennedy Center Honors, the Mark Twain Prize, The Kennedy Center Presents, and Billy Taylor?s Jazz at the Kennedy Center on National Public Radio.
