National Building Museum - Auditorium

F Street NW between 4th and 5th Streets

Metro
Judiciary Square, Red Line. Exit National Police Memorial/Pension Building. Museum is directly across the street at the top of the Metro escalator.

Bus
Northbound Circulator and Metro Buses 70 & 71 stop at 7th and F Street. Museum is 2 blocks east on F Street. Metro Bus routes D1, D3, and D6 stop at E and 6th St. one block south of the Museum.

Parking: 2-hour metered parking is in effect on 5th Street from 7am-4pm and 6:30pm-9:30pm Monday-Saturday. Metered parking on F Street is in effect 7am-6:30pm Monday-Friday. PMI parking garage is located on 4th between G and H. From the 4th Street exit of the garage, walk 1.5 blocks south, make a right on F Street and head west for a half block. Museum will be on the right.

Bike Parking: Limited rack parking located on North and South sides of F Street. Informal street parking.

About This Venue
Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2005, the National Building Museum is America's premier cultural institution dedicated to exploring and celebrating architecture, design, engineering, construction, and planning. Chartered by Congress in 1980 and open to the public since 1985, the Museum has become a vital forum for exchanging ideas and information about the built environment through its exhibitions, education programs, and publications. The Museum is located at 401 F Street NW, Washington, D.C. Museum hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm. Admission is free.
