7th and H Streets NW Metro
Gallery Place/Chinatown, Red, Green and Yellow Lines. Exit Chinatown, 7th and H Streets. Institute is one block north on the west side of the street.
Bus
Metro Buses 80, P6, X2, 70, and 71 stop at 7th and H St. Southbound Circulator and Metro Bus stop 42 and G8 stop at H and 9th Street. Northbound Circulator stops at 7th Street and Massachusetts Avenue.
Parking: Interpark (TechWorld) is located on the west side of 7th Street and is open 24 hours. Another entrance to Interpark's garage is located on I St. close to the 8th St. intersection. 2-hour metered parking is in effect on 7th Street from 9:40am-4pm and 6:30pm-9:30pm Monday-Saturday.
Bike Parking: Limited racks located in front of entrance. Informal on street parking.  Handicapped Accessible

About This Venue

The Goethe-Institut is the Federal Republic of Germany's cultural institution operational worldwide. They promote the study of German abroad and encourage international cultural exchange. As well as foster knowledge about Germany by providing information on its culture, society and politics. The German cultural center presents a wide variety of films, exhibits, discussions, media projects and language classes in a contemporary artistic setting.
