Source Festival is packed with unbridled fearlessness and sheer nerve. We invite you to watch tradition and innovation collide. 300 artists present three weeks of 10-Minute Plays, Project 24/7, One Act Plays, Mash-Ups and Full-Length Play Readings.

June 22 - June 28:
10-Minute Plays
Eighteen short plays selected from 500 submissions; directed by DC's top freelance directors.

June 29:
Project 24/7
Actors and dancers collaborate with playwrights and choreographers to create 10-minute pieces - all written, cast, rehearsed and performed in 24 hours.

June 30 - July 5:
Mash-Ups
Set up on creative blind dates, artists mesh disciplines to create inventive performance pieces.

July 8 - July 12:
One Act Plays
Five 10-minute play authors from the 2008 Source Festival return with new works commissioned for the Festival.

June 21, July 6 - July 7:
Full Length Play Readings
Washington's premiere dramaturgs and literary managers handpick three exceptional plays.
