Eighteen short plays selected from 500 submissions; directed by DC's top freelance directors.
June 29:
Project 24/7
Actors and dancers collaborate with playwrights and choreographers to create 10-minute pieces - all written, cast, rehearsed
and performed in 24 hours.
June 30 - July 5:
Mash-Ups
Set up on creative blind dates, artists mesh disciplines to create inventive performance pieces.
July 8 - July 12:
One Act Plays
Five 10-minute play authors from the 2008 Source Festival return with new works commissioned for the Festival.
June 21, July 6 - July 7:
Full Length Play Readings
Washington's premiere dramaturgs and literary managers handpick three exceptional plays.
