Sleeping Beauty
Sleeping Beauty Tickets and Information
Synopsis
Present meets past in this musical adaptation of Sleeping Beauty with book by Imagination Stage's Artistic Director, Janet Stanford. Roland A. Knight is a video game enthusiast and reluctant tourist dragging his heels through the medieval sites of France when he finds himself back in the Age of Charlemagne as a lowly page in Princess Aurora's castle. Aurora has problems of her own. The King and Queen are mysteriously over-protective and it is only with Rolly's help, and the inspiration of heroes old and new, that Sleeping Beauty awakens into the 21st Century and her own "happily ever after." Time traveling, video game adventures and Rolly and Aurora's friendship make this contemporary adaptation appealing to both boys and girls.
