Synopsis
The romantic life of a contemporary Irishwoman is illuminated in bittersweet, often comic tales of coming of age, illicit love affairs gone wrong, an unforgettable plan for revenge, and its surprising aftermath. Inspired by, and freely adapted from the works of Edna O'Brien, Polly MacIntyre's solo work was first performed at the West End Theatre (NYC) in the Artists of Tomorrow Festival. This production is presented as a part of the 2009 Capital Fringe Festival marks its DC debut.
