WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The comedy classic by Pulitzer Prize winning co-author of "A Chorus Line" James Kirkwood! It's New Year's Eve, and 38 year-old actor Jimmy Zoole is having a very, very bad day. He has been robbed twice in three months--the second robbery relieved him of the only copy of his first novel; he is fired from his biggest role yet in a Broadway play; his beloved cat is gravely ill; and he surprises his girl friend packing to leave him. He then discovers the gay burglar Vito Antonucci hiding in the apartment preparing to rob him for the third time. Jimmy decides to avenge himself for the perverse breaks in his life by tying Vito to the kitchen counter, cutting his pants off, and keeping the bare-bottomed burglar prisoner over New Year's Eve. Slowly, by shocking, moving and hilarious turns Jimmy and Vito develop a very unusual friendship.
