My Fair Lady Tickets and Information
Synopsis
With book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe, My Fair Lady is one of Broadway's greatest successes, running 2,717 performances after its 1956 debut and winning six Tony Awards. Henry Higgins, an opinionated linguistics professor and confirmed bachelor, makes a wager with a colleague that within six months he can transform a cockney flower seller, Eliza Doolittle, into a lady who can take her place in high society. The musical, with familiar songs such as "I Could Have Danced All Night," "Wouldn't It Be Loverly," and "On the Street Where You Live," is directed by four-time Tony winner Trevor Nunn (Cats, Les Misérables) and features choreography by two time Tony winner Matthew Bourne (Swan Lake).
