Synopsis

Inspired by George C. Wolfe's, Colored Museum, Freedom is a series of vignettes that take a satirical look at African American life and stereotypes. In this play, the actors take on a variety of different characters. Freedom uses comedy to look at race issues from the past to the present, and taking a look into the future.
