A story about immigration, alienation, language and meaning, different ways of killing and dying, donuts and ants. Four years after being abandoned by their mother, two Korean-American sisters struggle with growing up. One dreams of being Alice, but Wonderland ain't no fairy tale. Medea could have told them that.

I went to this show on the recommendation of some friends. It was hands down the craziest show Ive seen. The actress, Sue Jin Song, really throws her self into the multiple characters of this show. The range of emotions she expressed showed a rare talent I havent seen in quite some time. While this show may not be the feel good hit of the summer, Its definitely a show to see a highly talented actress hone her craft in an intimate setting.

Didnt know what to expect but the story of Meadea, Alice in Wonderland, and the two children growing up as immigrants in US all mingled together revealing humor, tragedy and struggle of the two girls. Amazingly well done and one person solo acting was better than full cast shakepearean play ive seen.
cant believe it was a solo performance. i felt like i saw at least 5 different personas from her one body. it was very physical and yet verbal. because the performer wrote the play herself, i could see that she fully understood every detail of the show. if you want to see something thatll make you think and laugh at the same time, the children of medea is highly recommendable.
saw last nights world premiere. this professional actor is simply incredible. first time i ever experienced being "actively glued" to as opposed to passively entertained by a live performance. script is intelligent and engaging. 100% entertaining. my time and money were well spent.
