Full casting has been announced for the Arena Stage production of Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey's musical Next to Normal, November 21-January 18. The show, which will open officially on December 10, will be directed by Michael Greif, who helmed the show earlier this year at New York's Second Stage Theater.

The musical focuses on an suburban family with a manic-depressive mother, whose illness takes its tolls on the lives of the other members.

Alice Ripley, Jennifer Damiano, Aaron Tveit, and Adam Chanler-Berat will all reprise their roles from the Second Stage Theater production; they will be joined by former Jersey Boys star J. Robert Spencer and Louis Hobson. The understudies will be Michael Berry, Meghann Fahy, Mary Mossberg, and Timothy Young.
