Mike Daisey, Danai Gurira, Rajiv Joseph, Charles L. Mee, Bruce Norris Set for Woolly Mammoth Season

Woolly Mammoth has announced its final selections for the 2009-2010 season, which will kick off with Danai Gurira’s Eclipsed (August 24-September 20), to be directed by Liesl Tommy and featuring Jessica Frances Dukes and Dawn Ursula.

Next up will be Charles L. Mee’s Full Circle (October 26-November 22), to be directed by Michael Rohd and featuring Sarah Marshall, Kate Eastwood Norris, Nancy Robinette, Michael Russotto, Howard Shalwitz, and Michael Willis. Writer/performer Mike Daisey will then debut his latest solo play, The Last Cargo Cult (January 11-February 7), to be directed by Jean-Michele Gregory.

The season will continue with Bruce Norris’ Clybourne Park (March 15-April 11), to be directed by Howard Shalwitz and featuring Kimberly Gilbert, Mitchell Hebert, and Jennifer Mendenhall. Concluding the season will be Rajiv Joseph’s Gruesome Playground Injuries (May 17-June 13), to be directed by John Vreeke and featuring Gabriela Fernandez-Coffey and Tim Getman.

In addition, Woolly Mammoth will host Chicago’s The Second City in Barack Stars (July 14-August 2), as part of the Capital Fringe Festival, and will present the return of the Neo-Futurists in Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind (December 7-January 2).
