From John Carlos and Tommie Smith to Colin Kaepernick and LeBron James, brave black athletes have used their fame as a platform for social activism. William Rhoden, former New York Times sports journalist and author of Forty Million Dollar Slaves: The Rise, Fall, and Redemption of the Black Athlete, will discuss how those in the sports world fight for social justice.
