WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The Folger Theatre presents Shakespeare's Two Gentlemen of Verona. Two best friends. One captivating woman. A big mess... Valentine loves Sylvia. Proteus loves Julia until he meets Sylvia. Julia refuses to give up and disguises as a man to win Proteus back. Brotherly love battles romantic love in Shakespeare's exploration of the lengths people will go over matters of the heart. Aaron Posner directs.
