WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
A pair of sparkling gems from J.M. Barrie (Peter Pan) that exemplify how his characters touch hearts around the world. In The New World a father tries to break through his British reserve to deliver a heartfelt farewell to his son off to war. The Old Lady Shows Her Medals is about a London charwoman and the surprising consequences of her lies to 'keep up with the Joneses.'
