RE:GOTTA SEE
I just got back from seeing a Sunday evening performance at Baltimore Center Stage and have to say I was blown away. I am not a theatre goer and prefer the in-expense of films but a friend offered me her ticket and I was not disappointed. After seeing this show I want to go to the theatre as much as I can. The play is a little confusing, but its, and Im not spoiling anything, a story of the love between a brother and sister. The leads were just as terrific as everyone else in the cast, and since Ive never been to a play here before, I have to imagine the actors work very hard to fill such a big space without the use of microphones. I could hear everything crisply, and the power of the language hit me in the chest with force, and I spent the last hour over coffee with my husband re living some of the gorgeous verse and prose. I have to congratulate the cast on delivering one of my favorite entertainment experiences, and while I could go into detail I dont want to ruin this for anyone else. GO SEE THIS PLAY!
