WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
This Tony and Academy Award-winning musical has been entertaining families for decades. The timeless favorite tells the story of an Austrian postulant who proves too high-spirited for the religious life, and is sent to serve as governess for the seven children of a widowed naval captain, with such enduring songs as "My Favorite Things," "Do-Re-Mi," "Edelwiess," and of course, "The Sound of Music."
