Tennessee Williams' glittering and haunting masterpiece reveals the complexities of Amanda Wingfield and her wishes for her children. Once the most popular girl in town with her pick of eligible bachelors, Amanda made poor choices and is determined that her two adult children do not replicate her mistakes.
