WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The African Continuum Theatre opens its 11th season with Lanford Wilson's The Gingham Dog; a once happy interracial marriage unravels as the explosive events of the 1960s Civil Rights era converts their compassion to cruelty. Wilson's first Broadway play offers a heartbreaking yet surprisingly funny look at how politics becomes personal. Jeremy Skidmore directs.
