WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Everyman company member Vivienne Shub portrays the legendary Etta Cone after the death of her dynamic and charismatic sister Dr. Claribel Cone. She recounts the extraordinary life of Baltimore Jewish "spinster" ladies, who during the first half of the 1900s assembled one of the world's largest collections of modern avant-garde art, later donated to the Baltimore Museum of Art. The Cone Sister is directed by Artistic Director Vincent Lancisi and written by Vivienne's sister, playwright Naomi Greenberg-Slovin.
