WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
SCENA presents the new musical, The Blue Angel, an urban reimagining of the 1930 hit film.
SCENA transports the famous 1930 film to gritty Harlem in a hip, modern musical with daring dance and seductive song. Follow the sultry Lola as she lures prep school boys to the seedy Blue Angel club. Prof. Wrath vows to protect them -- but he unwittingly becomes obsessed with the siren and his life spirals out of control.
Presented as part of INTERSECTIONS: a New America Arts Festival running all weekend!
