The peculiar dying wishes of their mother sends twins Simon and Janine on a journey to the war-torn Middle East to unravel their origins and unearth the source of their mother's years-long silence. A theatrical tour de force, Scorched has captivated audiences from around the world with its poetic mystery. Translated into a dozen languages in over 200 productions worldwide, Forum Theatre is proud to present the DC premiere of Scorched from highly acclaimed Lebanese-born playwright Wajdi Mouawad.
