WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
It is April 14, 1890 and Harry Hawk, actor-manager, steps onto the stage exactly 25 years after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln to present the story of the Late War Between the States?the Civil War. Reunion: A Musical Epic in Miniature features the accounts of eyewitnesses as well as 25 pieces of music, all from the period. It had its start as Battle Cry of Freedom in 1996 and opened off-Broadway in March 1999 to critical acclaim.
