WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Pangs of the Messiah is a fiercely humane and harrowing depiction of eight West Bank settlers who resist the dismantling of their settlement by the Israeli Defense Forces. Set in the future after the signing of a Peace Accord between the Israeli Government and the Palestinian Authority, this revised, updated version of Motti Lerner's 1986 hit play reveals the widely divergent responses within an extended family as they are forced to reckon with the legacy of their deeds.
