A play by Anton Chekhov, directed by National Theatre Associate Director Howard Davies, whose recent productions of Russian plays have earned huge critical acclaim. Mme. Ranevskaya contemplates her home, a symbol of her childhood and a persistant reminder of recent losses she has sustained. Can she keep the Orchard in her family, or will she be forced to walk away from it forever?
