Written by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee, Inherit the Wind is the groundbreaking courtroom drama based on the 1925 Scope Monkey Trial. When a young school teacher is arrested in a small southern community for teaching Darwin's Origin of the Species, the town becomes the focus of the entire nation. Based on the famous confrontation of Clarence Darrow and William Jennings Bryan, Evolution and Creationism go head to head in one of the most momentous court battles in history.
