Cry for the Gods
Riveting. Gets your attention right away and keeps it throughout the play. Incredible for a two actor play with no special effects.

RE:Great Response from Critics & Audiences!
5 stars from ZSun-nee Matema of Maryland Theatre Guide about this moving tale of Manifest Destiny and American Annexation: "Leolani Hills beautiful portrayal [of] the royal bearing of this icon of Hawaiian history." Howard Wahlbergs characters "humor and self importance." DC Theatre Scenes Laurel Elliott: "Actress Leolani Hill is inspiring," and says the play is: "Politically informative but also provide[s] intimate details." "...makes the narrator the antagonist; the audience isnt supposed to root for him, yet we are dependent on him to tell the story. This creates a very interesting relationship which further engages the audience. "A credit to the creative team. ...recommended for conspiracy theorists, American history enthusiasts and anyone who can appreciate a good Hawaiian love song." Must Close Sunday July 24. 3 more shows only. "The Mountain" is beautifully appointed with excellent air conditioning!
