WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

What better way to start off the season than with a modern classic of a classic story. Ludlam takes Alexandre Dumas fils' The Lady of Camillias (1848) places it has never been. In this raucous comedy, a Parisian courtesan, played in deliciously drop-dead drag, is driven away from the one she loves. Made famous by Ludlam's Ridiculous Theatrical Company, WSC returns Camille to its campy bohemian roots where love and loss are experienced through peels of laughter.
