The Studio Theatre's 2007 Winter Gala Be Passionate will transport the guests to a magical night of 1940's glamour, a time when men were men and women were dames. Lypsinka, previously seen at the Studio in Lypsinka! As I lay Lip-Synching, will assume the role of Joan Crawford in a preview of The Passion of the Crawford.

As a prelude to the performance, celebrants will enjoy aperitifs and hors d'oeuvres at 6:30 pm, followed by an elegant seated dinner on the Studio Theatre's stages and beautiful public spaces throughout the three-building complex.

The celebration concludes with dancing to a live swing band and the stylings of Judy Simmons. Proceeds from the gala support the artistic, education and community programs of The Studio Theatre.
