Henry VIII needs an heir, but his wife, Catherine of Aragon, is not producing one. Henry has also strayed beyond his marriage bed, falling into the arms of Anne Boleyn. Conveniently, his wife's barrenness is a perfect excuse for him to divorce and remarry. But the King faces obstacles; the church and people of his country must bless his choice.
