WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

1776 is an insightful yet humorous retelling of the signing of the U.S. Declaration of Independence. The action begins during the hot summer of 1776 as the Second Continental Congress convenes in Philadelphia to debate the fate of the nation. John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and other of our nation's Founding Fathers take center stage at Independence Hall, where they create one of the country's most enduring documents and change the course of history.

There is no performance on Tuesday, March 18. There are no Saturday matinees prior to April 19, and no Thursday matinees prior to March 27. There are Wednesday matinees at 12:00pm on March 26, April 2, and April 9.
