The stars of the Kennedy Center production of the musical Gigi met the press in their rehearsal studio on December 22.
Vanessa Hudgens leads the company of the musical in the title role, alongside Corey Cott as Gaston Lachaille, Howard McGillin as Honore Lachaille, Victoria Clark as Mamita Alvarez, Dee Hoty as Aunt Alicia, and Steffanie Leigh as Liane d'Exelmans. The cast also features Cameron Adams, Max Clayton, Madeleine Doherty, Ashley Blair Fitzgerald, Hannah Florence, Allison Jantzie, Brian Ogilvie, Ian Paget, James Patterson, Justin Prescott, Manuel Stark, Tanairi Sade Vazquez, Amos Wolff, and Ashley Yeater.
This production of Gigi features a new book by Heidi Thomas in addition to the classic score by Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe. Eric Schaeffer helms the production, with On the Town's Joshua Bergasse choreographing. The Broadway-bound musical runs January 16-February 12.
