Jersey Boys to Perform at National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

Preston Truman Boyd, Joseph Leo Bwarie, John Gardiner, and Michael Lomenda, currently starring in the national tour of Jersey Boys, playing at the National Theatre, will perform “Little Drummer Boy” during the pre-show of the 89th annual National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony on Thursday, December 1, beginning at 4:30pm at the Ellipse in President’s Park in Washington, D.C.

The event will be streamed live at www.thenationaltree.org and also taped for subsequent broadcast on PBS.

Jersey Boys continues through January 7 at the National Theatre. Directed by Des McAnuff, the show, which charts the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, has a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe and choreography by Sergio Trujillo.
