Andrew Call to Replace Doug Kreeger in Signature’s Les Miserables

Andrew Call will replace Doug Kreeger in the role of Marius in Virginia’s Signature Theatre’s production of Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg’s musical Les Miserables, to be presented in Signature’s MAX Theatre, December 2-February 22. Eric Schaeffer will direct the production, which will be a brand-new version of the show utilizing an environmental staging. Kreeger is leaving the cast in order to perform in the new off-Broadway production of Rooms.

As previously announced, the cast will also include Christopher Bloch (Thenardier), Kurt Boehm (Fauchelevant/Claquesous), Matt Conner (Montparnasse), Felicia Curry (Eponine), Sherri L. Edelen (Madame Thenardier), Sam Ludwig (Feuilly), James Gardiner (Babet), Adam Ethan Grabau (Bamatbois/Grantaire), Michael Grew (Courfeyrac), Tracy Lynn Olivera (Fantine), Aaron Reeder (Bishop of Digne/Lesgles), Thomas Adrian Simpson (Combeferre/Foreman), Chris Sizemore (Enjolras), Stephen Gregory Smith (Joly), Greg Stone (Jean Valjean), Russell Sunday (Brujon/Army Officer), Stephanie Waters (Cosette), and Tom Zemon (Javert). The ensemble will feature Eleasha Gamble, Channez McQuay, Amy McWilliams, Hannah Willman,and Weslie Woodley, as well as swings Jamie Boyle, Patrick D. McMahan, and Julie Wolf.

The creative team will include choreographer Karma Camp, musical director Jon Kalbfleisch, set designer Walt Spangler, costumer designer Kathleen Geldard, lighting designer Mark Lanks, and sound designer Matt Rowe.
