Raul Esparza, Melissa Leo, Set for Kennedy Center’s 9/11 Tribute, To Be Streamed Live on Facebook

Stage veterans Raul Esparza and Melissa Leo will participate in 9/11: 10 Years Later – An Evening of Remembrance and Reflection, a special concert at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts that will mark the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, according to a report in The Washington Post. Christiane Amanpour will host the invitation-only event, which will be streamed, live on Facebook, starting at 7:30pm on September 11.

Also scheduled to appear are Denyce Graves, Emmylou Harris, and the choral group Voices of Inspiration. In addition, former secretaries of state Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice, and Madeleine Albright, will read tributes.
