Marvin Hamlisch, Patti LuPone, David Sedaris Set for Strathmore’s 2012-2013 Season

Strathmore has announced programming for its 2012-2013 season.
Theater-related highlights include Tony Award winner Patti LuPone with a compilation of love songs in Matters of the Heart and Broadway legend Marvin Hamlisch performing the Broadway hallmarks of his Tony, Grammy, Oscar, Emmy and Pulitzer Prize-winning career with a concert soloist. Satirist David Sedaris will read from his best-selling books.
Neil Berg will present the revue 101 Years of Broadway, with additional theatrical productions including Tap Dogs, Voca People, Luma Theater, and Cirque Ziva.
Among the other artists who will perform at Strathmore are Ballet Folklórico De México, Kathleen Battle, Cyrus Chestnut, Billy Collins, Flamenco Vivo/Carlota Santana, Julie Fowlis, Alasdair Frasier, Chelsey Green, Angélique Kidjo, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Keb’ Mo’, Mark O’Connor, Mary Oliver, Maurizio Pollini, Dianne Reeves, George Winston, and Lizz Wright.
