Boeing-Boeing, The Temperamentals Part of Rep Stage’s 2012-2013 Season

Rep Stage, the professional Equity theatre in residence at Howard Community College, has announced its 2012-2013 season.

First up is Jon Marans’ The Temperamentals (August 29-September 16), about the early gay rights’ movement in the 1950s. Kasi Campbell will direct.

J.M. Barrie’s Mary Rose (October 31- November 18) tells the lyrical, stirring story of a girl who disappears only to return mysteriously with no memory of time passed, setting off a heartbreaking and thrilling course of events. Michael Stebbins will direct.

Next up is Samm-Art Williams’ Tony-nominated play Home (February 27-March 17, 2013), that deals joyfully with the coming of age of a young black man from rural North Carolina. Duane Boutte will direct.

The season will close with Marc Camoletti’s farce, Boeing-Boeing (April 17-May 5), translated by Beverly Cross and Francis Evans. Karl Kippola will direct this story of an American architect living in Paris who juggles relationships with three air hostesses. Rep Stage’s Producing Artistic Director Michael Stebbins will be featured in the cast.
