Following its multi-Helen Hayes Award-nominated production of Angels in America, Forum Theatre will return to the work of Tony Kushner and present The Illusion, his free adaptation of Pierre Corneille's L'illusion comique, from May 24 through June 16 at the Round House Theatre, Silver Spring.

In The Illusion, an aging father looking for his long-lost son encounters a sorcerer who presents three episodes from the young man's life which may or may not be true. Mitchell Hébert will direct the production, which features Aaron Bliden, Joe Brack, Gwen Grastorf, Mark Halpern, Brian Hemmingsen, Nanna Ingvarsson, Scott McCormack, and Brynn Tucker.

The creative team includes Daniel Pinha (scenic design), Kristy Lee Hall (costume design), Ariel Benjamin (lighting design), Matthew Nielson (sound design), Patti Kalil (properties design), and Brian Curry (magic consultant).
