VIDEO FLASH: Patti LuPone Performs at Signature Theatre’s Sondheim Award Gala

Signature Theatre has released a video montage of its 2012 Sondheim Award Gala, which was held at the Embassy of Italy on April 16. As previously reported, the event will honor Patti LuPone with the company’s third Stephen Sondheim Award.

In addition to her acceptance speech, LuPone sang the title song from Sondheim’s musical Anyone Can Whistle.


The event featured performances by artists such as Laura Benanti, Natascia Diaz, Howard McGillin, and Tracy Lynn Olivera.
