Rebollar Dance, Erik Ehn Premieres part of force/collision Season

New performance ensemble force/collision will present two world premieres as part of its inaugural season.

The season will include the world premiere of The Nautical Yards (April 26-29), a large scale, site-specific dance/theatre performance on the historic Washington Navy Yard created with Rebollar Dance and directed by John Moletress. The production will include new music by composer Daniel Paul Lawson.

force/collision’s second world premiere will be Brown University’s Head of Playwriting Erik Ehn’s Shape (July 5-8 at Burning Coal Theatre), one in a series of 17 plays which explore genocidal ideology and collective trauma. John Moletress will direct.
