Pointless Theatre to Present Cab Calloway’s Minnie the Moocher
Pointless Theatre is to present Cab Calloway’s Minnie the Moocher, April 13-29 in the Mead Theatre Lab at Flashpoint. Matt Reckeweg will direct.
Pointless Theatre’s first show outside of the Capital Fringe Festival, Cab Calloway’s Minnie the Moocher uses puppets, dancers, and a live jazz band to tell the story of Minnie the Moocher and Smokey Joe, characters that Calloway threaded throughout a number of songs.
The design team will include Patti Kalil (set design) and Aaron Bliden (band leader).
