Writer and performer Ed Dixon (Anything Goes) is gearing up to bring his solo show about his friendship with the Tony-winning performer George Rose to Virginia's Signature Theatre for a limited run, January 8-February 7.

Georgie: My Adventures With George Rose chronicles Dixon's relationship with his actor mentor, who was best known for his Tony-winning performances in The Mystery of Edwin Drood and My Fair Lady. A British character actor, Rose performed alongside the likes of Katharine Hepburn, Noël Coward, Richard Burton, and Laurence Olivier before meeting an untimely and grizzly end when he was beaten and murdered by his adopted son in the Dominican Republic. Eric Schaeffer directs.
