Tony Winner Jefferson Mays and the Cast of A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder Celebrate Opening Night on Broadway

Meet the cast and learn about the lightning-fast quick-changes of Jefferson Mays and his 8 characters (who all die).

On Sunday, November 17, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder celebrated its Broadway opening at the Walter Kerr Theatre with a black-tie after party at The Pierre. This new musical, directed by Darko Tresnjak, follows our hero Monty Navarro as he kills off 8 of his despicable relatives who disowned his mother in order to inherit a vast fortune and become Earl. All of these despicable characters are played by the same Tony-winning actor, Jefferson Mays. Each murder is more absurd than the last as Mays has to quickly change costumes to become a new character after each death. TheaterMania got the inside scoop on all of these quick-changes.
