The Cast of Dames at Sea Is All Smiles on Opening Night

It took half a century, but the small downtown musical made it to the Great White Way.

The six-person cast of Broadway's Dames at Sea chatted with TheaterMania yesterday evening at Sardi's, where the show hosted its opening-night festivities. Not only was it a celebratory night for the company, but it was also a landmark occasion for the musical, which makes its Broadway debut after premiering off-off-Broadway in 1966. Randy Skinner leads the cast of hoofers, starring Lesli Margherita, Eloise Kropp, Mara Davi, John Bolton, Danny Gardner, and Cary Tedder. Take a look at what they had to say about the "happiest musical on Broadway."
