Talented Teens Ready Rock of Ages for High School Debut

The process "ain't nothin' but a good time."

High schools will soon be going high octane thanks to Samuel French and iTheatrics. The companies have partnered to develop a parent-approved version of Broadway's raunchy rock-and-roll musical, Rock of Ages, and have enlisted the help of high-schoolers from all around the country to develop the tailored material. TheaterMania chatted about the unique workshop process with representatives from Samuel French and iTheatrics, also hearing from two of the young performers christening the brand-new script. It didn't seem possible, but Drew and Sherrie are well on their way to being the next generation's Danny and Sandy.
