School of Rock's Brandon Niederauer Channels His Inner Jimi Hendrix

Niederauer performs the national anthem in honor of a special anniversary.

On August 18, 1969, Jimi Hendrix took the stage at Woodstock and debuted a version of "The Star Spangled Banner" that would set the world ablaze. On the eve of his performance's 47th anniversary, guitar prodigy Brandon Niederauer, one of the pint-sized cast members in School of Rock, took the stage at the Winter Garden Theatre to perform his own rendition of the tune, to an ecstatic audience. TheaterMania was on hand to capture the magic.
