Santino Fontana, John Larroquette, Nikki Renée Daniels Bring 1776 Back to the Stage

The classic musical will be presented by New York City Center Encores!

The classic musical 1776 will return to the stage March 30-April 3 in a major production from New York City Center Encores! Staged by Irish director Garry Hynes, this is going to be a 1776 unlike anything we've ever seen, as a multiracial cast brings the struggles of the American Founding Fathers to life in a more contemporary fashion than one would expect — and without the powdered wigs. At a recent press event, TheaterMania sat down with stars Santino Fontana, Christiane Noll, John Larroquette, Nikki Renée Daniels, John Behlmann, and more to discuss this still relevant and acclaimed tuner.
